Cookies

When you visit the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform, we install cookies on your computer. Cookies are small text files that websites send to your computer or other Internet-connected device to uniquely identify the browser you use or to store information or settings in your browser. Cookies allow us to recognize you when you re-access previously visited pages. They also help us provide a personalized experience and may allow us to detect some types of fraud. In many cases, the information we collect using cookies and other tools is used in unidentifiable forms and without references to personal data. For example, we may use the information we collect to better understand website traffic patterns and to optimize our website experience. In some cases, we associate the information we collect with your personal information using cookies and other technologies. Our business partners can also use these tracking technologies on the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform or appoint third parties to monitor user behavior on our behalf.

There are two types of cookies used on the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform: (1) "session cookies" and (2) "persistent cookies". Session cookies normally expire when the browser is closed, while persistent cookies remain on the device after the browser is closed and can be used again the next time the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform is accessed.

In many cases, you can manage your cookie preferences and disable the use of cookies and other data collection technologies by adjusting the settings on your browser. Since all browsers are different, visit the "Help" section of your browser to learn about cookie preferences and other privacy settings that may be available. Choosing to remove or refuse cookies or to delete local storage space could affect the characteristics, availability and functionality of the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform.

Flash cookies

We may use flash cookies, also known as Local Stored Objects and similar technologies, to personalize and improve your online experience. A flash cookie is a small data file placed on a computer that uses Adobe Flash technology. Adobe Flash Player is an application that enables the rapid development of dynamic content, such as video clips and animations.

We use flash cookies to personalize and improve your online experience and to provide content for Flash players. We may also use flash cookies for security purposes, to collect certain website metrics and to help remember your settings and preferences. Flash cookies are managed through a different interface than the one provided by your web browser. To manage flash cookies, visit the Adobe website.

If you disable flash cookies or other similar technologies, you may not have access to certain content and product features, such as the device remembering an Advertisement displayed during a previous visit.

Pixel tags, web beacons and trackers

Pixel tags, web beacons and tracking URLs (trackers) are small graphic images and/or small blocks of code placed on website pages, ads or our emails that allow us to determine if you have taken a specific action , such as accessing certain pages or opening an email. These tools help us measure response to our communications and improve our web pages and promotions.

Server logs and other technologies

We collect many different types of information from server logs and other technologies. For example, we collect information about the device used to access the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform, the type of operating system, the type of browser, the domain and other system settings, as well as the language used by the system and the country and time zone in which the device is located. Our server logs also record the IP address of the device you use to connect to the Internet. An IP address is a unique identifier required by devices to identify and communicate with each other on the Internet. We may also collect information on the website you consulted before accessing the Lion Holiday Sardinia platform and on the website you visited after leaving the Lion Holiday Sardinia platform.

We may also collect information on the use of the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform, for example when we provide accessibility tools. The tools described help us improve the user experience and provide our services.

Device information

We may use device information to authenticate users. For example, we may use your IP address, browser information, or other data provided by your browser or device to identify the device you use to access our platform. We may also use these device-related techniques to associate you with the different devices you use to access our content, including for fraud defense purposes and to better target advertising.

Third parts

Lion Holiday Sardinia allows third parties to collect the information described above through our Service and discloses it to third parties for business purposes as described in this Privacy Policy, including, but not limited to, providing advertising on our Service and elsewhere based on your online activities over time and across different sites, services and devices.

Third parties, including Facebook, install technologies such as pixels and SDKs on the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform. These technologies (1) help us analyze how you use the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform, for example by noting the third-party services you come from, (2) market and advertise Lion Holiday Sardinia services on the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform and on Third-party websites, (3) help us detect or prevent fraud or conduct risk assessments, and (4) collect information about your activities on the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform, on other sites and/or on the advertisements you clicked on. For example, to help us better understand how users use the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform, we collaborate with various analysis partners, including Google Analytics and Klaviyo. To prevent Google Analytics from using your information for analysis purposes, you can install the Google Analytics deactivation browser by clicking here. In some cases, cookies are placed if certain criteria are met, such as accessing the third-party service on the same browser.

Third parties, including Facebook, may also use these tracking technologies to collect or receive information from the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform and other sites, and use this information to offer you more relevant advertisements and measure their effectiveness both on the Lion Platform Holiday Sardinia than on other websites and online services. The targeting and advertising cookies we use may include Google and other advertising networks and services that we use from time to time. For more information on how Google manages data in its advertising products, read here. For more information on targeting and advertising cookies and how to disable them, visit the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page, the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page or http://youronlinechoices.eu. To disable Google Analytics for display advertising or to customize advertisements on the Google network, you can visit the Google Ads settings page. To the extent that advertising technology is integrated into the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform, you may receive advertising content even though you request not to receive personalized advertising. In this case, the advertising content will not be adapted to your interests. We also do not control any of these opt-out links and are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of these mechanisms. Users can disable the collection and use of information for ad targeting by updating their Facebook account ad settings and contacting lionholidaysardinia@gmail.com with a description of the request and validation information.

Third party social plugins

The Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform can use social plugins provided and managed by third parties, such as the Facebook Like button. Consequently, you can send the information you view on a certain part of the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform to third parties. If you have not accessed your account through the third party, the latter cannot be aware of your identity. If, on the other hand, you have accessed your account through the third party, the latter may be able to link information or actions relating to your interactions with the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform to your account with that third party. Please review the third party's privacy policies to learn more about its data practices.

User Choices

Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your browser settings to refuse cookies by visiting the "Help" section of the browser toolbar. Although it is possible to disable the use of cookies through the browser settings, currently the Lion Holiday Sardinia Platform does not respond to the "Do Not Track" signal in the HTTP header of the browser or mobile application due to a lack of standardization regarding how that signal should be interpreted.

Flash cookies work differently than browser cookies, and the cookie management tools available in a web browser do not remove flash cookies. To learn more about how to manage flash cookies, visit the Adobe website and make changes to the global privacy settings panel.

Your mobile device may allow you to control cookies through the settings. For more information, see your device manufacturer's instructions.

If you decide to refuse cookies, some parts of the Platform may not work as intended or may not work at all.
