If you choose to spend your summer holidays in Stintino, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the sea in all its beauty, as it boasts some of the most beautiful and pristine beaches on the island. Among these, the most famous beach is undoubtedly La Pelosa, which attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world every year. Its beauty is indescribable: very fine white sand, crystal clear waters and a breathtaking landscape characterized by the Torre della Pelosa, an ancient Aragonese defense tower from the 16th century.
In this regard, however, remember that for some years the beach of La Pelosa has a limited number and for a fee; therefore, to enter you must book tickets through the official page: last summer access was only allowed to a maximum of 1500 people per day and the ticket to enter the beach cost 3.50 euros per person (children up to 12 years of age entered for free). But in the municipality of Stintino it is not only La Pelosa that is spectacular. Even the beaches of Rena Majore, Le Saline, Ezzi Mannu and Balai (all with free access) are among the most beautiful on the island, with crystalline waters and very fine sand. And if you prefer a wilder experience, we recommend visiting Pazzona beach, one of the few wild beaches left in Sardinia.
